Lithuanian-Belgian-Russian Joint Venture WOOD MEL was founded in 1991 together with Belgian and Russian business partners in Klaipeda, which is the fundamental seaport of Lithuania. We have sawmills in Russia and Lithuania with such equipment as Michael Weinig AG, Reinnold Hess GmbH, and etc. All production is of the highest quality. The softwood (pine, spruce, larch) and hardwood (oak, ash, birch, alder) for a timber production are supplied from various regions: Russia, the Ukraine and Lithuania. Most of manufactured products are exported to the United Kingdom, Germany, Holland, Canada, the United States, Japan, and etc. with the help of our agents.

At present we manufacture the following products:

?Timber for construction, pallets, furniture; planed products and floorings.

Species: spruce (picea abies), pine (pinus silvestris), larch (larix decidua), birch (betula), alder (alnus glutinosa)
Quality: Unsorted + Quarta U/S (I,II,III) + IV
Sizes: by request.
Humidity: kiln dried (KD), air dried (AD).
Quantities: 700 cbm per months, about 15 containers (40 ft.) and more.

We are in position to deliver our products to any destination port. We use MSC, CMA, MAERSK shipping lines for container, ship break bulk or truck deliveries.
